What is Bohol AI?
An independent AI community in Bohol, Philippines — open to anyone curious about building with AI.
February 1, 2026 · By Bohol AI
Bohol AI’s mantra is Unlocking Bohol Through AI — an independent community upskilling Filipinos in AI, rooted in Bohol, Philippines, and open to remote others who want in. We are not a corporate product or a university department — volunteers run the club and read every sign-up personally.
The club grew out of a simple observation: AI tools are reshaping how people work, write, and build, but most of the learning community is concentrated in big cities or online spaces that can feel distant and abstract. Bohol deserves its own corner where curious people can learn together, in context, with examples that matter locally.
What we offer
- Access to the latest AI tools and technologies for real projects
- Hands-on workshops and friendly hackathons
- A place to connect with others curious about AI in the province
- Honest coverage of what AI can and cannot do today
- A low-barrier entry point — no degree or prior experience required
Whether you are new to AI or already building, you are welcome. The site at boholai.com is our public home: events, a sign-up form to follow the club, and a place to share project ideas.
Who follows the club
People who follow the club come from different backgrounds: developers, students, freelancers, small business owners, and people who are simply curious. The common thread is a willingness to learn and share honestly. No credentials needed.
How following works
There is a short form on the site. Leave your name and email to follow the club, and you will get invites to meetups and updates. A real person reads every sign-up.
Support
Suba Labs sponsors Bohol AI, providing tools, infrastructure and mentorship. The club itself stays community-led.
If you want to get involved, at meetups, as a speaker, or with a project idea, the sign-up form on boholai.com is the right starting point. We reply personally.
