Starting a community takes more than putting up a landing page. It takes a decision to keep things honest, to not claim a stage that hasn't been earned yet, and to let the work speak over time. The February 2026 launch was that commitment made public.

Why we draw the line here

AI communities have a credibility problem: many publish breathless recaps with inflated numbers, "sold-out" labels, and vague testimonials. We are choosing a different path. If a session happened, we say so. If we do not have a written record of a specific detail, we do not add it for texture.

This is also good practice for a club focused on AI: if we are asking people to think critically about machine-generated text and unverified claims, we should apply the same standard to our own writing.
