Our March 2026 session on AI agents that can use a computer for you, and where they help small businesses and freelancers.

Intro to Agentic Computer User is listed on our site as a March 2026 past event — a session on agentic computer use. This article does not add fabricated curriculum or results.
What agentic computer use means
Agentic tools are models that do not just generate text in a chat box — they plan multi-step actions, use tools, and operate interfaces on behalf of a user. "Computer use" specifically refers to models that can move a cursor, click buttons, type into fields, and read screens the way a person would. Anthropic released an early version of this capability in late 2024, and it has evolved rapidly since.
This is a meaningful shift from autocomplete-style LLMs. An agentic model can be given a goal and work toward it across multiple applications, without a human deciding each next click. That brings genuine power — and genuine risk if the goal is underspecified or the model misjudges context.
Why it matters for people in Bohol
Agentic tools lower the barrier to automating repetitive digital work — things like filling forms, navigating admin portals, or moving data between applications. For small businesses or freelancers who cannot afford custom software, this is practical and immediate. Understanding the limits (what can go wrong, what needs a human in the loop) is as important as the upside.
Materials
Agentic tools are a fast-moving area. When we publish materials from this session, they will be linked from this post. In the meantime, Anthropic's public documentation on computer use is a solid starting point for anyone who wants to explore the technology before we publish a club-specific write-up.
